Although sometimes changing a fluorescent tube by a LED tube may seem child's play at other times, it can be a real headache if you do not take into account certain details.
Thus, to make installation easier, we have prepared this simple step-by-step guide to change the fluorescent tubes for LED tubes.
Depending on your installation with ferromagnetic or electric ballast, it will be necessary to proceed differently.

Let's go!

How to replace a FLUORESCENT Tube with a LED Tube Light

STEPS STEP BY STEP:

 1.  Disconnect the electricity from the electrical panel and check that the power is turned off. Electrical risk.
 2.  Remove the old neon tube, then the choke.
 3.  Place the new LED starter bridge (supplied with each tube)
 4. Remove the capacitor (to avoid surges)
 5. Install the new LED tube.

STEPS STEP BY STEP:

1.  Remove the old neon tube. In this case, there is no choke because it is incorporated inside the electronic ballast.
 2.  Disconnect the cables that enter the electronic ballast (no need to remove them, simply disconnect them electrically).
 3.  Then, choose one of the two tube holders (or sockets) and connect its two cables directly to the mains.
 4.  We recommend marking the socket where you made the connection to facilitate the installation of the LED tube.

Some offer a wide range of fluorescent tubes, ideal for replacing your old neon lights. LED tube models are also specially adapted for commercial use. These fluorescent tubes have different color spectrums that will allow you to highlight your different things.
